Several of the campus ID card readers used to unlock building doors, including the Lilly Center, have been upgraded with ‘proximity-style’ readers. The new Canon printer/copiers, as well, are equipped with these card readers. Thus, we encourage everyone on campus (faculty, staff, students) to pick up new ID card to be able to take advantage of these new readers.
Employees’ family members who have DePauw ID cards to access the Lilly Center also need to get a new card in order to enter the building.
Employees’ immediate family members over the age of 16 are eligible for a DePauw ID card. There is no charge for their first card or if they bring their old one for replacement, but there is a $20 replacement fee for lost cards. If they do not already have a DePauw ID, they will be asked present a current photo ID such as a drivers licence and you will need to accompany them for identification.
Please let your family member(s) know that the best time to visit the HelpDesk to get their new card is 8:00am - 10:00am or 1:30pm – 4:00pm, Monday – Friday.
